Cars is a social commentary on how America has become too obsessed with the shiny and new, and forgotten about the beauty of our roots. I never saw Iron Giant, but The Incredibles was a silly movie about super heroes that find themselves irrelivant. How many times have I seen that story before. I do agree that you can make an excellent film on less money. Unfortunately we as Americans look too blindly at the glam, and resist anything with substance. Thanks for the plug. :)
